Shannon Graphics can revitalize your old models. If you have a model that has been damaged by time, carelessness or other factors, or are looking to add new components to an existing model, we can use your existing model as a guide to creating you a new, sturdy and fresh-looking model. In addition to being less expensive than having a new model constructed, this process can also save you a considerable amount of time. Our model shop can breathe life back into almost any old model.

The first thing we do is personally visit your institution to evaluate the model, and its capacity to be restored or augmented. We determine what parts can be saved, and what parts must be thrown away. After our evaluation, we factor in what changes you want made and prepare a quotation. Once we receive a signed quotation and retainer, we bring the model back to our model shop in Toledo, Ohio, and begin work.

If new parts need to be constructed, they are computer modeled in true 3-D and then laser-cut out of solid acrylics and urethane foam for the highest possible accuracy. New pieces are designed to blend in seamlessly with existing pieces. We custom-mix all the paints we use so they will match the original paint colors. Once restoration has been completed, we personally deliver it back into your hands, where it should last for a long, long time.
